Contact Savings Made Easy
By Chris
The quickest way to reach us is email: hello@savingsmadeeasy.co.uk. It goes straight to Chris, who writes the site. We are not Chip, so we cannot help with your Chip account, but we do want to hear about anything on the site that is wrong or out of date.
Email us
Write to hello@savingsmadeeasy.co.uk. One person reads the inbox, and every message is read.
What to get in touch about
- Corrections. A wrong rate, an out-of-date offer or a broken link. A link to the source showing the right figure helps a lot. The editorial policy explains how corrections are handled.
- A change in a savings app’s rates or terms. If Chip or another provider changes a rate or a sign-up offer before we have caught it, tell us. Rates feed into the Chip interest rates page and the savings app offers page.
- A bonus that did not match what we describe. We cannot chase it for you, but if the terms Chip showed you differ from our referral code page, we want to fix the page.
- Questions about the guides. If something is unclear, or your question is not in the FAQs, ask. Useful answers usually end up on the relevant page.
- Bugs in the tools. Especially in the calculators and bonus checker.
- Privacy requests. Anything about the small amount of data the site handles. The privacy policy sets out what that is.
What we cannot do
This site is independent of Chip and of every other provider it writes about. We have no access to anyone’s systems, which means:
- We cannot see your Chip account, balance, autosave settings or plan.
- We cannot pay, chase or check a referral bonus. Chip adds it once all the conditions are met, under its own rules, and it is paid at Chip's discretion.
- We cannot speed up a withdrawal or reverse a payment.
- We cannot give financial advice or tell you which account is right for you.
Contacting Chip
For anything about your account, a withdrawal or a referral bonus, contact Chip directly through the help section of the Chip app. If your question is about whether you qualify for the bonus, Chip’s refer a friend terms are the final word, and our bonus checker walks through them.
It helps to put everything Chip needs in your first message, so a slow reply is not followed by a request for more details.
The is Chip safe page covers who regulates Chip, which bank holds the money and how FSCS protection works.
Response times
One person reads this inbox alongside running an agency, so expect a reply within a few working days. Corrections get priority: if you report a wrong figure with a source, we aim to check it and fix the page within a few days, and we will tell you when it is done. If you have not heard back within a week, a spam filter is the likely culprit, so please send it again.
Why there is no form
A form would mean storing what you write on a server and adding spam protection that usually involves a third-party script. Email avoids that: your message goes to one mailbox, and you keep a copy. The privacy policy describes what happens to emails we receive. We do not take sponsored posts, guest posts, link exchanges or paid placements, so please do not send those requests.
